Hi! I'm Guilianna! I'm 16 years old and from the United States of America. I live in a small town and someday I hope to live in a big old city- my mind is currently hooked on New York City and/or Miami. I spend my time blogging, volunteering, playing soccer, and doing other things to keep myself out of trouble.

My story starts in 7th grade. Like any other child, I experienced bullying. For one of my English papers, I wrote about it. My English teacher pulled me aside one day and talked to me about it. She stated that I was one of the best writers she had ever encountered. It changed my perspective on writing and English class as a whole.

As time progressed, I realized I wanted to be a writer of some kind. In 8th grade I wrote 1-2 articles for my school newspaper and found myself in a journalism class. It wasn't a very serious class. Looking back on it now, I wish it was a critical class.

In 9th grade I wrote several articles for the school newspaper. I again requested to be in a journalism class, knowing that a new teacher was taking over. There I learned different writing techniques and journalism vocabulary. I enjoyed it a lot. 

As a sophomore, I wrote for my school newspaper and took an honors level English class. I really enjoyed writing for my school newspaper and allowing for my ideas to spread throughout the hallways. As for my honors English class, it was definitely challenging, but I tried my best and pulled through as always.

I'm on my way to being a junior in high school now.

Now I'm currently writing for "The Little Chatter Boxes" before my junior year of high school. I look forward to building upon my writing status and making an impression on some of you. I'll be doing so by sharing my thoughts with you on Mondays.
